2 cups organic crimini mushrooms, sliced
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup rice wine
4 cups beef broth
4 cups water

Instructions
1. Sear the Beef: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add cubed beef, season with salt and pepper, and sear until browned on all sides. Remove from the pot and set aside.
2. Build the Flavor: In the same pot, add chopped garlic and shallots, sautéing until fragrant and softened. Add crimini mushrooms and cook until they release their juices.
3. Make the Broth: Pour in soy sauce and rice wine, stirring to combine. Then, add beef broth and water, and return the beef to the pot.
4. Simmer for Depth: Bring the broth to a gentle simmer and let it cook for about an hour, until the beef is tender and the flavors have melded together.
